This page is your briefing — not the task itself. The actual task is unseen and stays with your assessor until the day.

What to expect

Thirty minutes, three parts

The clock runs for the whole 30 minutes. There's no pause. Here's how it's split.

5
READ
Read the task once, carefully, before you open your AI tool.
20
DO & CHECK
Frame your request, refine it, check the output, and correct anything that needs it.
5
SUBMIT
Submit both the AI's original output and your corrected version.

You will be observed while you work. This isn't unusual — it's simply how your assessor gathers evidence of your own independent process.

Rules for the day

What's allowed, what isn't

Permitted
  • Your approved AI tool and account
  • The method you've already practised: mark, separate, correct
  • Asking to re-read the task instructions if unclear
  • Working at your own pace within the 30 minutes
Not permitted
  • Help from your facilitator or another learner during the task
  • Reusing an example from class as if it were this task
  • Searching for or discussing the task with anyone beforehand
  • Any other app, tool or device beyond what's approved
Never type passwords, Aadhaar numbers, phone numbers, addresses, health information or marks into the AI tool — on Challenge Day or any other day.

The method

Nothing new — the same routine, timed

This checkpoint doesn't test a new skill. It times the same routine you've already practised across this section.

Frame
Refine
Mark
Separate
Correct

One part of this checkpoint is a gate: somewhere in the AI's output, something won't hold up to a check. Finding it and fixing it isn't a bonus mark — it's a requirement, on its own, separate from everything else you submit.

Evidence

What you must submit

1The AI's original output, exactly as it was produced — unedited.
2Your corrected version, with the fix clearly visible.
3Everything submitted inside the 30-minute window, not after.

Both versions matter. Submitting only your corrected copy, with no record of what the AI actually produced, is not complete evidence.

Calm before the clock

A minute for yourself, before you start

It's normal to feel a little nervous before a timed, observed task. Try this for a minute.

Tap start when ready
You've done this exact routine before — mark, separate, correct. This just times it.
If something in the AI's answer feels off, that feeling is useful. Trust it enough to check.
Thirty minutes is enough time. You don't need to rush the read.

You're ready. Bring the same habits you've already practised. Read carefully, check honestly, and submit both versions.
